In recognition of the increasing cost to deliver quality financial advice, we’ve increased our advice fee limits to provide you with more flexibility when providing advice.
Our advice fee caps have changed as follows:
Previous maximum fee payable (per member) | New maximum fee payable (per member) |

The lower of $3,000 or 1.5% of the member’s account balance | The lower of $6,000 or 2% of the member’s account balance1 |
In addition to the fee caps, your client must retain a minimum balance of $15,000 (increased from $6,000) in their Hostplus account after the fee deduction is applied.2

If you have not yet registered with Hostplus, you can do so by completing and returning the Adviser and Licensee Agreement.
We’ve made advice fee consent requests easier
We’ve also removed the requirement for advisers to provide certified proof of identification for their clients when submitting the advice fee consent, making the process quicker and easier.
