Terms and conditions of
FAAA Roadshow competition

  1. Promoter: The Promoter is Host-Plus Pty Limited ABN 79 008 634 704, AFSL 244392 as trustee for the Hostplus Superannuation Fund ABN 68 657 495 890, MySuper No 68657495890198, Locked Bag 5046, Parramatta NSW 2124, phone number 1300 467 875. 
  2. How to enter
    1. To enter the draw, individuals must, during the Promotional Period (as defined in clause 5(a)), visit in person, the Hostplus booth at the FAAA Roadshow 2024 (Roadshow) held at ICC Sydney (Location) and consent to their details being scanned using their Roadshow Attendee App.
    2. Only one entry is permitted for each person. By submitting an entry, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
    3. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and age) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions within an entry may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. 
  3. Eligibility: Entry is only open to persons who are registered attendees of the Roadshow. Directors, officers, and employees of the Promoter are not permitted to enter the competition.
  4. Prize:  A single prize of a wine pack valued at $100.
  5. The draw:
    1. Entries to the draw will commence 8.30a.m. 3 May 2024 and close at 3.30p.m. on 3 May 2024 (Promotional Period). 
    2. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a representative of the Promoter at 3.30p.m. on 3 May 2024, at the Location. This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
    3. The winner will be notified by telephone, email or in writing within 10 days of the prize draw.  The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    4. The winner must reply to the notification and claim their prize by 6 June 2024. If the prize remains unclaimed as at 10am on this date, despite all reasonable efforts to contact the winner, the prize will be forfeited, and a further draw will be conducted for the unclaimed prize of the Promoter at 11am on 6 June 2024. The second winner will be notified by telephone, email or in writing within 10 days of the further prize draw.
    5. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.  The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so. 
    6. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, and/or proof of entry validity prior to receiving the prize. Proof of identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
    7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant. 
  6. Waiver: Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
  7. Privacy: Entrants consent to the collection and management of their personal information in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at hostplus.com.au/privacy) and these terms and conditions. Entrants agree that their personal information may be used by the Promoter for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy as well as for research, marketing, and promotional purposes and as set out in these terms and conditions. At any time, entrants may opt out of such communications. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
  8. Limitation of liability: Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its directors, officers and employees) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury which is suffered or sustained or any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered including but not limited to: any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or taking and/or use of the prize. 
  9. Governing law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of NSW and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
